In this exercise, participants were asked to create haiku’s about their creative blocks. They chose blocks suggested by Julia Cameron in Chapter 10, or made up their own. They were asked to created 4 Haikus: 1: On the nature of their block, 2: Seeing their block with compassion, 3: Writing about their devotion/addiction to their block, 4: Making fun of it!

Below are some of the poems created in our group meeting on 4/12/11. Enjoy!

Sex by Leigh Bailey

Withheld from myself
in effort of improve chi
channeled energy.

Sensual touching
Sine waves flowing toward me
giving orgasm.

Beside myself I,
See the door opening
for; pleasure seeking

Hot words dripping sweat
Down my forehead I regret
Exchanging numbers.
